Here is a lovely and restored 1931 Oldsmobile Six Cylinder Sedan, with sidemounts, sidemount mirrors and trunk!

A nicely and correctly restored car, in authentic colors, and accented with wire wheels and whitewalls! It’s really a good looking car!

Look at the chrome, it’s all been redone and it’s beautiful.  Note the dual bar chrome fender brace and Oldsmobile logo.

Beautiful Oldsmobile logo.

Note the high quality paint job, and how well the doors fit.

The metal trunk is a rare and desirable Oldsmobile option.

The license plate is included with the car

Here’s what I like to see on a wood framed body – doors that don’t sag!

the lower door fit is excellent, too.

Excellent steering wheel and dashboard.

Nicely restored dash and instruments.  the mileage showing may not be the original miles.

Nicely redone interior, in material that is very close to Mohair, although it is done in a modern fabric.

Clean doorpanel and nice authentic doorhandles.

Nicely trimmed in the back.

Another shot of the rear seat – nicely done!

Great view from the driver’s seat!

The Oldsmobile Six Cylinder engine, of 197 Cubic inches.

There were many refinements for Oldsmobile in the year 1931.  Downdraft carburetor, mechanical fuel pump ( instead of vacuum tank ) and Synchro-mesh transmission.  It runs great, and can be driven at nearly highway speeds.

pretty clean and ready to run!

The Fisher Body tag

Nice Dashboard.

Take a look at the hood ornament,  it was a$5.00 option when this car was new.  Other optional equipment that is present on this car are both bumpers ( can you imagine bumpers being optional? )  trunk, at $30,  Fender lights, Dual sidemounted spares, sidemount mirrors.

Sidemount detail.

Reasonably clean but not show detailed underneath.

That’s a good looking and well equipped car!
