Here is a lovely 1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible, with recent paint, leather interior, and, most importantly, a working top mechanism!
Nice Chrome and stainless trim. look at the original California black plate – it’s a Rust Free California Car!
Super straight sides – that’s important on this vintage Lincoln!
This car is well equipped, with:
- Factory A/C ( not cold now )
- Power front disc brakes – ’65 was the first year for front discs
- Automatic transmission
- Power steering
- Power top – Works great, at considerable recent expense!
- Power windows
- Power Vent windows
The ultimate profile – the top is very recent and beatiful.
And here it is with the top down!
And here is the top on it’s way down!
Nice and dry, excellent inner panel condition. The top bows are nice, too.
The top bows and inner top are nice, too!
Moving on to the interior, we find excellent leather seats, and a beautiful, un-cracked dashboard.
Excellent steering wheel, too. All of the gauges work great.
Part of the brilliance of the big Lincoln Convertible is in the design of the doors, and the openness of the seating arrangement.
Excellent doorpanels and wood trim.
Excellent interior chrome. Note the bulls-eye on the windshield near the windshield post.
there’s the big 430 Cubic inch V-8, finished au – naturel
Runs pretty well, but in my opinion it could stand to be tuned up, I noted some roughness when cold.
Wow! Straight! Nice! California Rust free!
This photo shows the size, the style, and the comfort of the big Lincoln!
Also note the reflection on the paint, which is high quality and smooth.
The right side windows work great. The left side windows don’t operate as well, but we’ll fix that prior to shipment.
