This 1971 Mercedes Benz 250 C is the nicest, prettiest car available now!  It is finished in the original French Vanilla Color,  with the original Caramel interior! It was sold new to an Air Force Lt. Colonel, who took delivery in Germany, and then shipped it home to Arizona. the original Arizona plates are still here, and included with the car.

The 250C styling is perfect, a balanced design with an open hardtop .  Note the Chrome Mercedes wheels with Brand new radial tires.  Also note the nice accessory driving lights.

A beautiful car, and one that runs and drives like a new one!  It operates beautifully, giving the driver the feeling that it has always been in good care, properly maintained, and garaged.

All of the chrome and trim on this car is excellent!

Lovely clear European style headlamps, gleaming chrome, and look through the windshield at the interior, a fabulous, unbelievably nice original interior!

This car looks lovely in the photos, and it is lovely in person, too!

The passenger side as pretty as the left side. The paint is excellent, a nice quality job over straight, rust free original sheetmetal.

Spectacular! Sitting behind this steering wheel is almost like being at Stuttgart in ’71 – it’s still rich, clean and vibrant, with no fading, shiny trim pieces – WOW!  This car was garaged, and this is the type of detail that shows it.  A car left outside – especially in Arizona – would have faded and cracked.

That’s the ORIGINAL doorpanel, look how nice it is!  Even the storage tray is nice and un-scuffed.

Lovely dash and console!  The only blemish I could find is a narrow crack on the dashpad, just above the left side of the glovebox.   Even the original speaker grille is lovely, uncracked, and fresh looking!  It has a nice Kenwood stereo, with CD AND IPOD adapter.  Of course, the original Becker Radio, Faceplate and speakers are included.  The current speakers are small ones, installed in the original receptors in a non-destructive way!  No hacking going on here!

Beautiful, Clear gauges, all of which work properly.  Right now, the car has 107,000 miles showing.   Oh, the clock doesn’t work.

Beautiful headliner, note the courtesy lamp working.  All of the lights, turn signals, horn, etc all work properly.

BEAUTIFUL and ORIGINAL seats!  Sitting in this car is a delight!

The rear seat as nice as the front!  Note the texture and color of the original material!

Lovely rubber rocker molding trim.  everywhere you look on this car, it’s nice!

The original carpeting has some slight wear on the driver’s side.

Nice clean trunk, with original mat and tools!

Super solid original sheetmetal, with just a slight bit of surface rust showing.

The Mercedes-Benz 6 Cylinder engine!  It runs super!  It has been recently tuned up, oil changed with synthetic oil, and new battery.  Although the Factory Air Conditioning is all complete and hooked up, it does not actually make cold air, it will need some sort of service to make it cold.

The Brakes and wheel bearings were recently serviced.  This car is ready to drive!

Nice, tidy engine bay.

Arizona and California Car = NO RUST or RUST REPAIR !  Also note the nice aluminized exhaust system.

Here it is under the right door – perfect and un-rusted. This car has led a charmed, pampered, well cared for life, and it shows!

The differential oil was recently changed, too.  note the new muffler.

Here’s the original owner.  The blue-green document on top was the European driving insurance document that allowed him to drive the car upon delivery in Germany.

All of the books are contained in the original Mercedes Benz pouch!

The original build card inside the warranty book!  Wow!  How often do the cars come with this kind of paperwork?

When you took European Delivery, they assumed you knew what Pflegemittel meant!!

An absolutely delightful car, ready for enjoyment now!
