This 1935 Lincoln LeBaron Coupe is a wonderful custom bodied car, with extremely long provenance – back to the 1970’s in the same family!  I remember this car from way back in the Classic Car Club – in fact, I drove it for the owner’s Dad on the entire 1982 Pacific Northwest Car-A-Van !

It has recently had significant reconditioning work done, including a rebuilt water pump, new manifold gaskets, fuel pump, carburetor and other items to get it back on the road. The V-12 engine has 414 Cubic inches, 150 Horsepower, and a synchronized 3 speed transmission.

The LeBaron Coupe is perhaps the best looking car Lincoln made that year!  Only 23 were built!  The Lebaron Coupes were built on the 136 inch wheelbase for the proper proportions.  The cars that needed a longer wheelbase such as limousines and convertible sedans used the 145 inch chassis.

It is finished in a beautiful shade of dark maroon.

The dashboard was new for 1935, and was a statement of modernity and good taste.  Note the optional radio.

And there’s the rumbleseat, finished in leather.

The sidemounts were optional too – but if you stepped up for a Lebaron Coupe, at $4,600,  you wanted it all!

There’s the 414 cubic inch V-12.  Runs nicely.
